My belief is that the most important thing you can do to support healthy lymph is to heal TRAUMA and the suppressed emotions and subconscious limiting beliefs attached to it. Trauma which is a disconnect from the SELF/Soul, is the most important root cause of all dis-ease in my experience. 🙏
When your nervous system is in chronic trauma mode - when unprocessed stress and shock are stuck - this causes a freeze 🥶 in the body which reduces overall flow of energy and can therefore affect the flow of fluids, including lymph too, therefore making it more difficult for the body to clear toxins which will lead to inflammation and dis-ease. 🥵
I also believe that caring for the body in certain ways (will include this in part 3) that help the lymph flow better can help people move the stuck emotions (emotions = energy in motion) in the body so that they can feel them, so it's easier to heal trauma as well (to heal it you must feel it)! ❤️
This is part of why certain holistic movement practices like Yoga or Taichi can support trauma healing/reconnection to self. But this will only happen if someone is mindfully aware and chooses to consciously work with what is surfacing, with a practitioner and/or on their own if they understand the ways to do this.
When my clients are doing cleanses or detoxes, I always recommend they take time for themselves to consciously be with what is coming up (emotions and limiting beliefs) for this very reason. It can be an opportunity for deeper healing and releasing. Otherwise they will endlessly be detoxing with little to no results. 😏
If you detox without working on the root cause of why you’re subconsciously holding onto certain toxins in your lymph and tissues, it could not only be less effective but also potentially dangerous, especially if the major detox pathways are quite clogged (liver, gut, kidneys, skin and lymph).
I understand the great degree of toxicity our bodies are exposed to in this world, so I'm not at all minimizing how these affect us, as I believe toxicity is a trauma and shock for the system too. 🥹
I’ve personally experienced the negative impacts of pharmaceuticals (meds and vacc injuries), pesticides, EMF radiation, toxic mold, etc. However, if I'd focused only on clearing these physical-based toxins and not done the Soul work, I know I would not have recovered to the degree I have. ✨
Movement and healthy nutrition is important and yet I’ve still met many clients who are very physically active and eat well and still have significant lymph stagnation and heavy toxic burden due to their unresolved trauma. That was me for the first few decades of my life and boy did I still get very chronically ill! 😬
Working on clearing all these layers of dis-ease at the same time (holistic approach) creates a much more powerful and effective healing from chronic dis-ease compared to only doing one or the other on their own.
As I said above, working on the parts of us that are unconsciously holding onto all these forms of toxicity (mental, emotional, energetic and physical) and not letting energy (including lymph) flow freely is key. 🔑
Our subconscious creates our reality and therefore hugely influences our body, and our subconscious is deeply connected to and affected by our emotional health. 😡😢😧😳
Is there suppressed guilt, shame, anger, fears, etc and subconscious limiting beliefs that we are unworthy of feeling good, having ease and good health or beliefs around safety and needing to control keeping you stuck and rigid in your thought processes as well as energy flow?
Suppressing emotions and forming subconscious limiting beliefs usually start as a protective mechanism at some time but you can reprogram the subconscious when these are no longer helping, and instead hurting! 🫣
We are spiritual beings having a human (mental, emotional and physical) experience. All of these aspects of us are important and affect one another very strongly and this is why I believe and know to be true in my personal and professional experience that the healing from any form of chronic dis-ease will be more rapid and effective when we approach it in a holistic way. 🫶
For long term results to be experienced trauma healing is necessary and you absolutely need to be the one to reclaim yourself, as no one can do this for you in a way that will create permanent change. Others can only guide and witness you in this reclamation of Soul/self process. 💖
